Know the condition
New, new old stock, overhauled, repaired, serviceable, as removed, unserviceable and for repair describe different conditions. “As removed” does not mean “serviceable”. Condition is specific to the selected lot.
Review the evidence
Documentation may include release records, shop reports, logbook extracts or other evidence. Documents remain private until access is approved. “Documents supplied” does not certify airworthiness.
Confirm suitability
A qualified aviation professional must assess suitability and applicable installation requirements. A matching or similar part number alone does not establish interchangeability.
Unknown means unknown
Missing hours, life history or maintenance information are shown as not supplied. They are never represented as zero hours or unlimited remaining life.
